Our Story.

We met in 2012 during our senior year of high school. We both attended the Photography classes and were assigned the same project that required us to shoot architectural buildings throughout New York. One day, we simply ran into each other on the street - we were photographing the same building from different points!

We had small talk and decided to shoot together. That afternoon turned into a warm summer evening and ended with ice cream in a small cafe. We were talking and talking and talking until the shop closed.

A year later, we began to live together. Our love story proves that opposites may attract, but if you have a common passion, you will love each other forever.

Ceremony & Reception

3 PM, October 17, 2025

The ceremony will be on the roof of The NY Urban Space. There is a steep staircase, so please wear something comfortable. The reception will be immediately after the ceremony down in the main gallery space where there will be dinner, desserts, drinks, and lots of dancing! So don't forget to bring your dancing shoes!

Hotel Accommodation

Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel

The closest hotel to the venue of our ceremony is the Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel can't hold the reservation for the block of rooms, therefore, please reserve a room for yourself as soon as possible. If you want to be on the same floor with other guests, use our secret password "John and Jane" when booking.

Ladies

We ask you to choose plain, light dresses without rhinestones or spangles. The space will be decorated in pastel colors interspersed with red and green. Given that the ceremony will take place on the roof, we recommend that you do not wear floor-length gowns.

Gentlement

Open collar, please. Instead of a classic tie, you can wear a bow tie if you wish. In fact, we do not have specific recommendations for men. You can wear a light two-piece suit or just be in a white shirt and trousers. Please avoid dark colors and vibrant prints.

The best gift we could ask of you is your presence at our wedding. We hope that you come and share this day with us. More so that we've ordered the most delicious wedding cake in the city, and Jane bought an amazing dress!

Engagement Photos.

In August 2019, after dinner at Italiano Positano (where we had our first "real" date!), John surprised Jane by inviting her to a meadow on the outskirts of the city. So, everything happened there at sunset, that was really romantic. By the way, all photos were taken by our dear friend Tina Shen.
